David Helped My Body Heal Itself
I struggled with Sacroiliac joint pain for years and thought that I would never run again. David helped my body heal itself and I am happy to be back on the road running with my friends. I am running like I did while in my 20s. We are still training together.
David was a great trainer he fixed my frozen shoulder after a few sessions. Now we are working on weight loss and I am down 20 lbs ?
David Was My Top Choice
David has been working with me for over a year and a half. I originally started with him performing myofascial release massage prior to my boot camp training sessions. This helped me perform much better at those sessions. After sustaining a tricep injury at the class (with a different instructor), I decided that I needed a personal trainer instead of group classes and David was my top choice.
David works closely with me to address and help ease my medical conditions (especially joint pain related to RA), he tailors all exercise sessions based on my restrictions and needs, and has definitely helped me get in better shape. David also provides diet and nutrition guidance and natural ways to combat my issues and improve my physical well being. David explains the various exercises and what muscles they target, and why he has me doing them. He is one of the most knowledgeable trainers I’ve ever had.
In addition to general personal training, David also has helped me get in better shape for golf, with targeted stability, balance, and power exercises. I am driving the golf ball farther and have a far more consistent and controlled golf swing.
It is so convenient working out in my own home. I feel I get a much better workout at home with David than at the gym. Plus it makes it easier to work out on my own since David shows me what I need to do and texts me my “home work” until our next session.
A Perfect Complement
At the age of 73, and after a fall on the ice leading to the dislocation of my right shoulder, I found myself greatly weakened and vulnerable to other problems. The worst has been the escalation of lower “back pain” into full-fledged sciatica down my left ham and leg and foot. My wife begged me to come to the gym, and work with David, whom she had been working with for some time. I finally went, kicking and screaming, and David started working with me. After decades of zero exercise, and just sitting on my rear at my desk, I was weak and in miserable shape. Within a single session, David got me on the path towards a refreshing sense of renewal. Now, about three months later, I am much stronger, almost pain-free, and actually enjoying going to the gym and working with David. He has an almost uncanny insight into the proper match of the right regimen of exercises to the precise needs that one has. His knowledge is comprehensive, and at the same time he is flexible in responding to changing circumstances–such as a flaring up of the sciatica. (This has required separate treatment, including epidural injections. David’s workout programs have formed a perfect complement to whatever medical treatment I have been receiving at the time, and he has carefully followed doctor’s diagnoses and prognoses.)

Professional Yet Very Friendly Trainer
I have been working with David over 6 months now. I’m a professional Ballroom competitor and needed a trainer who understands and adapts according to the specific needs. He changes my workouts based on my injuries and body pains to make sure I get most out of every workout (very safely) which is BIG for any professional since downtime is not good for competitive business. I also had him with work with my dad who is now 65 years old and he saw great results in 3 sessions. What I like about David’s workouts is that the routines are not flat. They involve a good mix of stability, rotation and plyo that is crucial to avoid injuries.
Also not to mention David is very professional, always there before if not on time!
I highly recommend David if you are looking for a scalable “therapeutic” workout where you can safely grow stronger without injuries with a professional yet very friendly trainer.
Easy To Work With
I’ve worked with David in the past. He is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. I highly recommend him for any type of fitness goal you may have.
I Am Exceptionally Grateful
David’s training is the reason I am able to workout and get healthy again. I have fibromyalgia (which is bad enough in itself), but I also fell a couple years ago and badly damaged both feet. The damage in one foot is likely permanent. As those who have had an injury that impedes mobility can tell you, when you’re immobile for a long time it doesn’t just affect your injured body part, your whole body becomes weak. After my injury even walking up a hill was incredibly hard. I tried working out with 3 trainers before David and 1 when his and my schedule didn’t match up. All 4 of them resulted in a horrible fibromyalgia flare up the next day or foot pain so bad I couldn’t walk. With David I am getting an incredibly challenging workout that is building my strength without sending me into a fibro flare or foot pain the next day. I may be workout sore (as is to be expected), but no fibro pain. I’ve built up strength and am starting to feel normal again. I know I wouldn’t have been able to work out on my own because I couldn’t figure out what combination of exercises I could do without one health challenge or another causing problems. What David is able to do with people who have disabilities or health challenges is truly an art. I am exceptionally grateful to have found him and feel like I am getting my health back thanks to him.
The Perfect Mix of Tough and Encouraging
David is amazing – He’s the perfect mix of tough and encouraging, and can help people from a varying range of fitness levels.
Not only does he come up with amazing workouts that leave me sore for most of the week – he also knows how to deal with different injuries. So, not only can he bring pain but also take it away. This therefore leads to him working you hard !!! That being said, he knows when something painful can be rolled/stretched out rather than just worked around. A couple times when I complained of pain, he rolled out the tight spots and to my amazement, I immediately had a better range of motion.
He lets me have my overall fitness goals and my occasional superficial goals without any judgment.
David is one of the best personal trainer I’ve ever encountered. He’s funny, warm , approachable, demanding, rigorous and really knows his stuff..
If you are looking for a trainer that is not intimidating but still pushes you to succeed David is your answer.
Highly Recommend David!
I have been working out with David for about six months now. I am in my mid-forties and have gained over 20 pounds in the last few years. I have a very busy schedule, which only made it more difficult to manage my weight gain and fitness.
In just a few months, I have gained noticeable amount of strength and endurance and am on a slow and steady path of weight loss as well.
David’s unique combination of strengths is his ability to train and manage after-workout soreness and pain very well, leaving me enthusiastic to continue to increase my workout level. He is also a very patient instructor and is perceptive enough to increase the pace of the workout based on the trainee’s ability.
I highly recommend David!
Perfect Trainer For My Mother
David has been working with my anti-exercise 79 year old mother for three months now. We selected David because of his background in senior fitness, corrective exercise, nutrition and message therapy. He works with my mom two times a week on increasing strength that was lost during a year of chemo and radiation therapy. He is also working to strengthen her core to support a very bad back.
David is very, very patient but firm with his reluctant client. There has been a noticeable improvement in her strength and eating habits.
David has turned out to be a perfect trainer for my mother.
